Virtual reality. Look above you and see not the roof over your head but the clear blue skies of the Pacific Northwest. Beneath you, not that hideous wall to wall but a gorge plunging hundreds of feet into the cool blue Oregon waters. And you haven’t moved a foot.
But after the initial shock of the experience subsides, you may notice cracks in the virtual world. The resolution isn’t as sharp as you might hope for – this isn’t 4K content. And there’s the question of motion sickness: Within minutes, some will feel a migraine coming on, or simply dizziness.
